Hey everyone, and welcome to the CAPP Records blog, where CAPP Records artists, producers, and other members of the CAPP team will be blogging about dance music, the dance music industry, the commercialization of dance music in the United States, and other areas of concern to us here at CAPP.
I’ve been blogging on my own here on WordPress for several months (visit djwesley.com, and click the Blog tab). When my friend Dom, president of CAPP Records, asked me about setting-up a blog for CAPP, of course, WordPress seemed the logical way to go for a number of reasons.
As for my role here in this blog, I’ll be doing occasional posts alongside Dom and the rest of the team, while continuing to blog on my own as well.
It’s an exciting time in the dance music industry, and I love being a part of it. Even more exciting is what’s happening right here at CAPP Records. It seems 2008 is shaping-up to be an incredible year all around, so brace yourselves for great things to come.
